I love everything about this top, the colors, the shape, the details, and a big bonus was that it was super comfortable. It is lightweight so it can easily be worn on warm summer days with shorts too! Casual Tassels for Summer

Hey guys! I hope you all are having a great week! It's been pretty low key here the last few days, we have had some pretty busy weekends so it's nice to not have many plans throughout the week. We are staying home a bit more too because of the puppy and making sure she is getting potty trained and also getting a lot of play time :) 

I decided to snap these pics after church on Sunday because I love how soft and comfortable this top is. It is super lightweight and perfect for warmer days. I paired it with my white denim, I know surprise, but I also love the way it looks with denim shorts. I also love  this off the shoulder version which would be perfect for the Fourth of July paired with some red accents!

Happy Friday guys! This post is going up a little late this week because it has been just a crazy busy week! We got a puppy on Sunday afternoon (go to my Instagram to see cute pictures @carriefaith252), she's a labradoodle and super sweet, but puppy training is whole different game then having a baby!! I seriously cannot let her out of my sight for fear that she's going to eat something, pee somewhere, poop somewhere (which has happened multiple times) so I'm on constant puppy watch! But she's cute so I guess that makes up for some of it! I think she's getting acclimated to her new environment and enjoying her new home. 

I wanted to share this outfit with you for some 4th of July inspiration. It's a super casual outfit and if it's too warm to wear jeans then it would look great with cutoff denim shorts too! I recently purchased this striped eyelet hem top and fell in love! It is so lightweight and perfect for the 4th of July with the blue and white stripes. To make it a little more festive I paired it with these red sandals from Target that are so comfortable and are 30% off today!! I hope you all have a great weekend! One Shoulder Bow Top

I have been loving off the shoulder tops for spring and was so happy when I found this one shoulder style top. Off the shoulder tops can be a little tricky, especially if you are a mom and picking up a toddler all. day. long. They can ride up onto your shoulders and you are constantly tugging at them and it just makes wearing an outfit stressful, which that should never be the case! So I highly recommend a one shoulder top if you are loving the off the shoulder top trend but find it difficult to wear for an everyday outfit. The one shoulder top gives you a little bit more coverage and allows you to lift your arms freely without it riding up on your shoulders, and you don't have to worry about it falling down either! This top is super lightweight and breathable, so even though the one sleeve is there it's not warm at all. It is pretty sheer so I recommend wearing a nude bra underneath or even a bandeau if you want more coverage. Here are some other one shoulder tops that are more appropriate for summer and warmer temps - Floral print - Casual and soft - Structured - Lots of colors - check these out if you are on the hunt for a one shoulder top! 

I also wanted to mention my white denim pants, I love these pants, as you can probably tell I wear them in almost every post! White denim can be hard to find that is not see through or that holds its shape wear after wear. One pet peeve I have with white denim, is that the front pockets don't show through. I look for white denim that either has no pockets or that have nude pockets sewn in. I know it sounds a bit crazy but those are some things I've noticed over the years of buying different brands of white denim. So here are two recommendations for you that I love and swear by: 

Abercrombie - This pair has fake pockets in front and they are super soft and stretchy but they don't stretch out throughout the day. These are my favorite distressed pair. 

Gap - These are ankle length which I love and I don't have to roll them usually. These are also stretchy but have a thicker denim feel to them. The pockets in the front are there but they are sewn in a nude fabric so you can't see the outline.

I think I have an obsession with peplum tops! I'm pretty sure if my closet could talk, it would say, "no more peplum tops allowed!" no but seriously, why do they have to be so stinkin' cute?!? I recently discovered a clothing website called www.chicwish.com that has the cutest style of clothes. I would describe it as whimsical, girly, and a little eclectic all in one. They have some beautiful pieces that make such a statement to an outfit, this top is the first purchase I made from them and it is perfect! I love the fit, quality and uniqueness it adds to my closet. I am excited to order more pieces from them, and an added bonus is they frequently have sales and free shipping!
