Whether it's your favorite throwback band or a vintage soda pop t-shirt, there are some fun ways to add this trend to your wardrobe this spring and summer.
Here are some more options I've found and think are super adorable.

Hope this helps you find a graphic tee you like and want to add to your summer style.
Have a great day!

Target Dresses

Camo Dress // Denim Jacket // Sandals (similar mine are from last year)

Happy Monday! One of the things I look forward to most when the weather changes to spring and summer is dresses! I live in easy, casual, comfy dresses all spring and summer long. It makes putting an outfit together effortless all while looking put together. Throw on a jean jacket or a cardigan for chilly days and it creates a whole different look. Today I'm sharing just a few of my favorites that I've found so far this season but there are so many more cute ones as well.

Tye Die Trends

Hi everyone! I thought I would put together a post about all the different ways you can wear the tie dye trend. There are so many cute pieces out there that if you are fearful to commit to wearing the bold trend, you can still incorporate small amounts into your outfit to feel like you are following the trend without going overboard and still looking classy.

If you are like me and embracing the bold tie dye trend here are some great options for an outfit that makes a statement:
4. Yellow Tie Dye Dress (Can be worn with a denim jacket for a more subtle tie dye look)

These accessories and shoes make wearing tie dye not so bold and gives any outfit just a touch of the trend.
5. Shoes
6. Sun Hat

Tie dye loungewear has to be my favorite! It is cozy but still makes a statement and I wouldn't mind wearing it out and about to run errands...eventually...haha! The bike shorts are my favorite for warmer weather, I'm excited to pair them with and oversized t-shirt or a denim jacket to wear out.

I love all of these options that are available for adding tie dye pieces to any wardrobe. Whether you want to make a big statement or just add a subtle touch to an outfit, I think there's an opportunity for you to do so. Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite or one that you want to try! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great day!

Daily Skincare Routine

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you what my daily skincare routine looks like, and give you some affordable options that are out there. For starters I've had pretty good skin throughout my adult life, with the occasional breakout here and there. But for some reason this past summer I noticed more and more breakouts happening and they were consistently showing up around my chin and jawline area. I was also experiencing patches of dryness on parts of my face, and I just felt my skin was not looking as glowing and hydrated as it used to.
So I looked for help at a dermatologist and she prescribed some medication to help get it under control, and it worked. But my goal was to not be on medication for an extended period of time. So we talked and what she also did was give me some great options for drugstore cleansers and topical creams to help keep breakouts at bay. She analyzed my skin type and gave me recommendations as to what would work best. One of the cleansers listed was by CeraVe, so I went ahead and purchased their Foaming Facial Cleanser and the Hydrating Facial Cleanser, after using both I prefer the Foaming Facial Cleanser best. I like my cleansers to foam when mixed with water and the Hydrating Facial Cleanser is more of a cream consistency when wet. They both remove oil and dirt from your face without drying it out and they have hyaluronic acid which is great for anti-aging.

When looking to change my cleanser I saw they also had different moisturizer options. I purchased both the day and night time moisturizers, and love the way they feel. The main difference between them is the daytime moisturizer has SPF 30 in it, which is great for days when I don't wear makeup, I know my face is protected. My everyday makeup has SPF in it so most days I go with their Daily Moisturizing Lotion for daytime wear. What's great about all of them is they are formulated with 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, again great for anti-aging.

In addition to the cleanser and the moisturizers, I also like to use a makeup remover before cleansing my face. My favorite is by Boscia and it's their MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil. You apply it to your face dry and rub it in and it feels like your makeup melts away. I always like to rinse it off and then follow with my cleanser to really clean my skin and get rid of all the dirt and oil.

If I do get an occasional breakout my go-to spot treatment is the Eradikate Acne Spot Treatment by Kate Somerville. This treatment is so good it lessens the time of the breakout and it's formulated with the highest level of sulfur allowed to fight blemishes, and it helps prevent future breakouts.

The final step in my skincare routine is using this face oil by Drunk Elephant. This is a luxury product in my skincare routine and I can't live without it! Once I started using this it changed the way my skin felt, looked, and its overall moisture. It's made to moisturize, balance, and restore a youthful glow, and it has done all those things for my face! It's made with critical antioxidents and omega 6 and 9 and all of these help reduce the appearance of fine lines, dryness, dullness and uneven skin texture.
This skincare regime is one that I have been following for the past 6+ months and it has been working great! I haven't felt that my skin is lacking anything that it needs and I feel I have more glowing skin than I have in previous years! I hope you have found this helpful and even will try some new skincare products! Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Easter Basket Ideas for Toddler Girls

I know Easter is going to be different this year for everyone, so I thought I would give some ideas for baskets that may help if you are looking to order online or to purchase through a drive-up service. These are just a few items I found for my daughters who are 4 1/2 and 2 years old. I usually like to put things in their baskets that are spring related outdoor activities (sidewalk chalk, bubbles), but my youngest just had a birthday in March and she received a lot of those things already. So some of what I was looking for were games and activity books since we are home a lot more now.
My oldest is into Barbie's and I thought the Tiki Barbie would be a great addition to what she already has, plus it comes with real sand to play with, which I thought she would love! She's also really into Hatchimals and likes collecting them, so the egg container sold me when I saw how cute it was. I also got her the game Candy Land (not pictured) because she's been really interested in board games like Life and Monopoly but they are a little challenging for her and we have to modify how we play to make it make sense to her, so I thought Candy Land would be a better fit for her age. I also like to get each of them a book and add new Play-Doh to our collection because ours dries out a lot!
For my youngest I wanted to get her a game as well and found this magnetic fishing puzzle by Melissa & Doug and thought it would be great for her age. She also loves to color so I saw these egg shaped crayons and couldn't resist them for her basket. Another item both girls will be able to use are the bath crayons, they love taking baths and these are always a big hit along with some bubbles. Some other ideas that make great basket fillers are toothbrushes, themed bandaids, pajamas, and candy.
I hope these are helpful if you are still looking to fill Easter baskets for you little ones! Happy Easter!

Room Transformation

Welcome back to my blog! It’s been a while, and what better time to start back up writing when we are stuck at home practicing “social distancing”? I wanted to share a room update with you all that we recently completed this past winter. The main floor of our home is where we mainly spend our time together as a family, we have a living room, playroom, kitchen, dining and master bedroom all on the main floor. One room we rarely used since we moved in was our dining room, we have maybe used it a handful of times since moving in 5 1/2 years ago. It was a beautiful room that I shared in a previous post here that fit perfectly with the decor scheme we have in our home, but it was the most unused room on our main floor. We would literally walk through it on a daily basis and that was the extent of us using it.
So my husband and I were talking this past Thanksgiving about getting a piano, I played in the past and have always wanted one and it has been on my wishlist for quite some time. I also want our girls to learn to play as they grow up and my oldest is getting to the age where she can start learning. We began the hunt for a piano and initially we were searching for an upright, mainly to save on space and we were going to put it in the girls’ playroom. While looking we came across a baby grand that fit the criteria of what we were looking for except that it was a baby grand and too big for the space we had planned for it. So I went to work and started measuring our rooms to figure out where it would go and our dining room was the perfect spot. We were able to give our dining room furniture set to my parents and clear out the space to fit the piano. It gave me the opportunity to transform the dining room into a beautiful sitting room. I added two sitting chairs, a side table, a rug and changed out the light fixture to complete the look of the room. It’s a room that now gets so much more daily use from our family and it is truly a better fit for how we intend to use our space in our home.
Thanks for reading today and I hope you all are staying well, have a great week!
